Bare

Adjective: naked, unclothed, with nothing on, in a state of nature, disrobed, unclad, undraped, exposed, nude. Winter; a chance to photograph the architectural nature of deciduous trees whilst they are devoid of their leaves or "In the nip" as one might say.

After the recent storms with their dramatic and highly destructive high winds, sadly a good few big trees were downed locally as below. Happily most survived.

So it prompted me to take a walkabout Pope's Meadow, which was once part of the English poet Alexander Pope's 17th Century Manor, to make photos of the ancient trees there which have survived mostly intact I'm pleased to say.
