The opposing point of view. Literally, scenically, made photographically by just by walking round to the other end, composing and pressing the shutter release. Harmony in conflict, maybe.
In this case it's the opposing scenes of the lake taken from the opposite ends, rather than being opposing views taken by people in an argument. English is such a curious language.
It's also an interesting juxtaposition of a view of where you are going and where you have come from, but which one is which, and indeed are they even time co-dependant?
Mind you the whole exercise was quite apposite in demonstrating that nothing is quite what it seems in photography and that pictures don't tell stories in themselves, despite what pundits may claim, rather people do but using pictures to help tell those stories.
